The protected path
- Author the institution. The artist sets the price floor, quote window, protection profile, and representative authority.
- Qualify the relationship. Collector and dealer inquiries become opportunities with source, budget, risks, and consent.
- Draft behind the artist. The agent produces replies, quote structures, and document packets for review only.
- Approve explicitly. Only the artist can issue a quote. Approval binds a snapshot hash, policy version, USD total, expiry, and commission preview.
- Accept without pretending settlement. Collector acceptance creates an auditable acceptance and any dealer obligation. Payment remains externally unverified until a human records evidence.
- Fulfill with evidence. Agreements, shipping, condition, delivery, and provenance advance through separate reviewable records.
Non-negotiable policy
USD is canonical
Every price and quote is stored as integer USD cents. A crypto quote never locks indefinitely.
Quotes expire
Default seven days, hard maximum thirty. Changes become a new version; issued snapshots are not silently edited.
Commission is explicit
Dealer basis points, scope, territory, attribution window, exclusivity, and revocation live in the mandate.
Proof is scoped
Provenance is a registry claim with evidence state. It is not legal title, valuation, or universal authenticity.

- Record the inquiry. Collector context, budget, dealer attribution, and protection risks enter one deal room.
- The representative drafts. It qualifies, structures a USD quote, and explains missing terms. Nothing is sent.
- The artist approves. Only the artist issues a quote; the exact lines, expiry, and commission are snapshot-hashed.
- The collector accepts. Acceptance binds to the approved snapshot — without pretending a contract was signed or money moved.
- Fulfil with evidence. Agreement, settlement, shipment, delivery, and provenance become distinct auditable events.
